Chartering

Since 1979 all chartering and brokerage services are offered by Baum & Co’s subsidiary Norba Shipping, being a small, flexible and independent broker.

We operate with business associates all over the world in order to have the best cargo for our own fleet and for the vessels of our customers.

Our core competencies are the container feeders, multipurpose vessels as well as small bulk carriers. Nevertheless we also have good knowledge in all other shipping segments in order to be on hand with help and advice for our customers at any time.

Sale and Purchase

Next to the chartering the sale and purchase is one further service offered by NORBA Shipping GmbH. Our strength is being a small team having short ways of communication and a wide range of contacts.

Especially in present times, characterized by fast pace, flood of information and rapid changes in the shipping market it is essential for us as broker that our customers always get the flexibility, trustworthiness and discretion which they need for their business.

Another very important feature is that our job does not end with a signed contract. We prefer to give advice to a project from beginning to end so that our clients achieve a success in the long run.
